Coaches

Kostya Karibyan - Head Coach

Kostya Karibyan is Fraser Valley Diving’s head coach. He is a former diving champion and a former coach of the Ukraine National Team. He is a nationally-certified NCCP Level 3 diving coach with over 30 years of diving and gymnastics coaching experience in Europe and Canada. In addition to coaching the Fraser Valley Diving Club, Kostya is also the Head Coach of the North Shore Dolphins Dive Club. Kostya’s experience, knowledge, and dedication are huge assets to Fraser Valley Diving.

Kelly Dee - Coach

Kelly dove as a competitive diver for ESPDC (Edmonton Springboard and Platform Dive Club) in Edmonton. He reached finals at two junior national championships and was a member of the Alberta diving team. He coached the junior developmental program in Edmonton for 7 years before moving West in 2010. Kelly now coaches with Fraser Valley Diving. We are pleased to have Kelly coach with us as he is lots of fun, the kids love him and he's great at bringing out the potential in our divers.

Rochelle Gaudet - Coach

Rochelle is a Level 1 coach who previously dove for Fraser Valley and White Rock Dive clubs. Rochelle coaches our Learn-to-Dive and Pre-competitive divers. Rochelle’s love for diving makes her an excellent coach!

Danielle Westwick - Coach

Dani is a Level 1 coach with extreme patience and enthusiasm. Dani is a Fraser Valley Diving member and she recently attended Provincial and National competitions. Dani is working with our Learn-to-Dive members and we are thrilled to have her as a coach and as a diver!

Allison McDonald and Kailee Lingham

Allison and Kailee are both senior Divers that have completed their level one, Learn-to-Dive coaching. They will coach warm-up and stretching, assist at meets and camps, and help with learn-to-dive classes as needed.
